OUR MISSION IS CLEAR
“We have the choice to use the gift of our life to make the world a better place - or not to bother.” - Jane Goodall
ABOUT US
Founded on a simple but powerful principle - that ordinary people can play an extraordinary role in protecting the wild.
The principle behind what is now Impi Conservation Fund began in 2019 as a personal initiative focused on using sport as a vehicle to raise funds and awareness for rhino conservation. What started as grassroots fundraising efforts soon evolved into a growing network that connected individuals, athletes, and businesses directly with frontline conservation NPO's making a real impact on the ground. Through these grassroots efforts, a significant amount of money has been raised in support of multiple highly respected conservation-based NPOs working to protect wildlife and wild spaces throughout Zululand, KwaZulu Natal.
In 2026, that vision formally evolved into Impi Conservation Fund - a purpose-driven conservation NPO dedicated to building meaningful partnerships between people, business, and conservation communities. Guided by the same founding ethos, the Fund now operates with a broader scope and greater capacity, enabling targeted support for recognized conservation initiatives protecting threatened species and the ecosystems they depend on.
At its core, Impi Conservation Fund believes conservation is not the responsibility of a few, but a collective effort that requires collaboration, resilience, and long-term thinking. By channeling support through the Fund, we are able to expand our reach, strengthen conservation partnerships, and direct resources where they are needed most — from wildlife protection and anti-poaching efforts to ecosystem preservation and community-driven conservation initiatives.
By supporting our mission, you become part of a growing movement committed to securing a living, breathing wilderness for generations to come.

OUR MISSION
Our mission is to protect threatened and endangered species by working with dedicated donors, partners, and like-minded NGOs to pool resources, support frontline anti-poaching units, fund critical conservation actions, and empower local communities as custodians of wildlife.
We achieve this by fostering powerful partnerships—driving effective, collective conservation efforts where they are needed most.
